Dress Lounge is a full-service boutique specializing in bridal, bridesmaid, mother of bride/groom, prom, semi-formal, evening, ready to wear as well as intimates and accessories. When you place an order on our website, we will treat you with the same care and respect that we extend to our in-store customers.

 

In-Store / & Online Shopping

  • We will do everything possible to make sure that your order is filled in a timely manner.
  • We will communicate with you personally after receiving your order via text, phone or email.
  • We will address all important contingencies, including confirming that your item will be received in time for your wear date based upon the information given.
  • Please be sure you select the correct color and size you intend to order when adding to cart. Please note dye lots may vary slightly from swatches & photos. Your order will be shipped complete to your confirmation page. Please check this page carefully prior to confirming and submitting your order. No returns, refunds, or exchanges will be allowed if you mis-order. We cannot guarantee a designer’s photos.
  • All merchandise is carefully inspected prior to shipping. In the unlikely event an item you receive is damaged or damaged during shipment, you must immediately contact us at shop@dressloungeboutique.com. All claims must be made within 24 hours of receiving the package, and photos must be provided. No exceptions will be made after 24 hours.
  • We cannot guarantee another client does not have your specific garment as items are sold online, but we will document the school and dress to help avoid this situation; we understand and value the importance of no one else showing up in YOUR dress!
  • Due to the nature of special occasion merchandise no returns, credits, exchanges, or cancellations will be issued for online or in store purchases for any other reasons other than those indicated above. All payments on layaways are also final sale. Please be sure of the size and color before placing your order. In stock dresses are purchased "as is" and alterations are not included. Special order dresses cannot be cancelled or refunded for any reason once your transaction has been processed. Any Clearance Merchandise cannot be returned for any reason. Items made to custom measurements will be FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.
  • Once your order is placed, you cannot change, alter, or cancel your order in any way. In the event an item in your order is not available, you will be offered alternatives or the option to receive a full refund for the item. We have no control and accept no responsibility for the sizing you select for your merchandise. Please check the provided size chart to ensure correct sizing.
 
In-Store Shopping:

 Please note that due to the high demand for dresses in our store, we allow each customer to have three dresses off the sales floor at one time. The dresses will be picked by a stylist to get you started. This process allows each of our customers to get the opportunity to see all our inventory as well as to get a better idea on the best style, fit, and color that best suits them. Everyone is welcome to repeat this process as many times as needed until they find "the one" during their appointment time! We do require appointments for in-store bridal shopping so we can provide you with the quality customer service you deserve! During high volume times (January-April), please schedule online via our friendly booking service. We highly recommend making appointments in advance during peak times such as prom season and weekends.  All merchandise must be collected within 14 days of arrival at the store.  The Dress Lounge will provide a pick-up date to the customer.

 

Layaway:

The Dress Lounge provides a free layaway program for in-store dresses. An initial deposit of 50% down is required for all in stock dresses. (Excludes special orders) Payments on layaway must be made every 30 days after the original purchase date. You will be notified when the 30-day mark has passed. If your layaway has not been fulfilled after 60 days, the payee’s deposit and past payments will be forfeited, and all merchandise will return to the sales floor to be sold to the general public. The layaway must be paid for in its entirety before the wear date or alterations begin. All sales are final.  Your initial payment, 50% of the total sale, and all subsequent payments are non-refundable.  There will be no refunds or exchanges of any kind on any purchases, including deposits and all payments received. 

 

 

Sizing:

Most dress manufacturers provide size charts to aid in choosing the correct size, as formal dresses run differently than normal clothing. It is important to measure carefully to get the most accurate measurements. Size charts are helpful in determining size but may not always be perfect. Keep in mind that it is much easier to take in a dress if the dress is too big than it is to let out a dress if it is too small. If you are measuring different sizes in the bust, waist, and hips, we recommend ordering the largest size you are measuring. Always plan to have your dress altered. Most dresses require alterations to get the most perfect fit. Please call Dress Lounge or email shop@dressloungeboutique.com for any sizing questions before placing your order, as all sales are final. All custom measurement dresses are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Custom measurement gowns typically will still need minor alterations for a perfect fit.  Dress Lounge is not responsible for the sizing on merchandise not measured in store. The Dress Lounge is not responsible for sizing changes made due to weight gain or loss, pregnancy, or any other body changes.  If the gown size chosen by the customer to purchase or layaway does not fit, Dress Lounge will not be held responsible. The customer confirms that he or she has chosen the size regardless of whether Dress Lounge suggested such a size or a different size.

 

Alterations:

Alterations are additional and are at the expense of the customer.  Dress Lounge will provide a recommended list of local seamstresses, as we do not offer alterations in store, although we do not guarantee the services of such seamstresses.


Pricing:
 

Please note that the prices that you see on our website reflect the Designer’s Suggested Retail Price [MSRP]. The designers that we represent do not allow their collections to be displayed on a website for a lower price than the MSRP price that you see on our website. If you see a lower price on any other website for the exact style from the same designer than you can KNOW FOR CERTAIN that website is producing and selling counterfeit dresses or gowns of inferior quality and shipping them as originals. We do everything we can to keep the prices on our website accurate and consistent with what the designer is charging for each style at the current time. Shipping:

In stock dresses and items will ship within 3-5 business days from the time your order is placed. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your order once confirmation and tracking number has been emailed to you. Free Ground Shipping is available for all orders over $250 anywhere in the United States. Expedited shipping is available upon request, however, it will be subject to an additional fee at the customer’s expense. If you need expedited shipping, please email us at shop@dressloungeboutique.com. International shipping is not available currently - we apologize for any inconvenience. We are unable to guarantee the transit time of packages once they leave our store and the tracking number has been provided. All our merchandise is carefully packaged and inspected prior to shipping. If our package is damaged or damaged during shipment, we ask that you immediately contact us. All claims must be made within 24 hours of receiving the package. Photos will need to be provided to shop@dressloungeboutique.com .


Shipping Carriers

Most of our packages are shipped via UPS. We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO, and FPO's.

  

Shipment Options

We offer free ground shipping to the contiguous US on full priced dresses. All time frames are given on business days (M-F). We do not ship on holidays.

Ground is 5-7 Business Days.

 

Shipping Cost

We offer free ground shipping to the contiguous US on full priced dresses.

Expedited shipping method costs will be determined in your shopping cart once you have entered your shipping address.

  

Do you ship internationally?

No. Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping currently.
